Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[Okay, so, this situation is pretty terrible. He can't find Wanda or Timmy.

Oh, man.

This is all very bad. No. It's terrible. What's he supposed to do?

This fairy is not even paying attention to where he's going. Or what he's doing.




...Maybe he should have because he just ran into the worst possible person for him to ever run into.

Well, in literal terms, he just flew into the worst possible person that....

Okay, so, the point's been made.

So, while Cosmo stares, wide-eyed at....Oh, look, it's sinking in!]

A-...

[CRAP, WHAT DOES HE DO? WHAT WOULD WANDA TELL HIM TO DO...?

Well, fleeing seems like the best idea, at the moment. So, that's what he's doing. In the form of flying away. As quickly as possible.]

[There was a smack right in the kisser! And Crocker squirms to get whatever just flew quickly into his face off.]

GET OFF OF ME FAIRY!

[Denzel waves his arms in the air rather uselessly when Cosmo is off what just knocked Crocker in the kisser dawns on him.]

...Wait a second that fairy just hit me in the face! COME BACK HERE!

[Crocker chases right after Cosmo, though the town. Cosmo did luck out in being displaced Denzel doesn't have his butterfly net. So the man is just outstretching his hands in hopes of capture and follow Cosmo though the town. Wherever that fairy may go.]

Hiiiii!

[CRAP, now what?! The little green-haired guy is definitely speeding up, his poor wings doing everything to assist him in going faster.

And, BOY, does he need to hurry right along!

Cosmo isn't actually paying any attention to where he's going, either. In fact, he's kind of flying in a sheer blind panic. Maybe it should have dawned on him sooner, but...

Well, finding out that he needs to pay attention after flying smack dab into a wooden bar sign...?

Yeah, that works, too.

With an "oof!", he soon finds himself crashing to the ground.]

[Denzel is blindly chasing after that fairy. Blindly to the point he's not paying attention to anything else that is going on in the town besides the fairy flying away from him. Where Crocker is rather decent at running, the man does have a few 'speed bumps' in his blind pursuit. This includes a herd of chickens running right in front of the man and this causes a short 'GAH' from Crocker. Next, Denzel steps into a wooden bucket and trips, which causes him to twirl into a fish net and land rather ironically next to Cosmo. After a moment or two Crocker shakes his head and shakes that off.]

Ah ha! Now I've got you!

[Look out Cosmo he's reaching right for you with those sinister eyes.]
