Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

I have no knowledge of Systems Alliance... and I believe I can safely assume that you have no knowledge of Starfleet or the Federation?

No- but if I had to guess, there's probably not a whole lot of difference.

Have you been a resident here for very long?

Only a few hours. I blacked out, and when I woke up I was in that fountain over there.

[Not a very nice awakening.]

How about you?

Transporter malfunction, or so I thought.

One moment I was transporting from a Class M planet my team was surveying onto the ship...the next I was here.

May I inquire as to the stardate from where you are originally from? I realize that we are mostly likely from different universes, but I find myself curious.

It's 2186 back home, and I can't say I blame you. This is... new.

I must admit to some annoyance to not having my tricorder. It did not come with me when I appeared....


...However, I believe it is a safe assumption that this planet does not have the means to make interstellar ships. It may prove to be difficult to return home.

Then I suggest we 'stick together'... perhaps we can find more information if we cooperate.

[Spock indicates the road and stats to walk.]

Since you shared your rank, perhaps I should reciprocate. I am Commander and science officer aboard the starship Enterprise. You mentioned your status, however, what did your duties entail?

tbh i'm not sure what her official duties *are* at the canon point I was thinking of

Things are kind of complicated right now. But until lately, it was mostly groundside postings. Working on colony defenses, that kind of thing.

Complicated? That would mean something has gone awry with your ship, correct?
