Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[There is an eight-year-old steering this ship, despite the fact that she can't really see past the boat's wheel all that well.

You may or may not recognize her as your Captain. That's the role she thinks she's claimed, anyway.]

Attention crew! Prepare for evasive action!

[She shouts this as she gives the wheel a hard pull to the left, tilting the entire ship to its Port.

There are no external threats or hazards she's avoiding, of course. This was just a fun thing to do.]

Okay! Where are we evasing?!

[have a Luffy! Or, to be accurate, have a stowaway! But he likes this game, too]

Sea camels! They're all over the place, and super dangerous to boot!

[She points overboard to an empty stretch of ocean, a manic grin on her face. Ellie doesn't even question the stowaway. ]


Gasp! They're coming around for another strike! All hands on deck!

[ She gives the wheel another hard turn, this time starboard. ]

Ahh! Sea camels are the worst! [he matches her grin for grin. At, 'all hands on deck, he flips over to stand on his hands and laughs]

Now what, Captainn? [and he claps his sandaled feet expectantly]

[Ellie giggles. She likes this guy, whoever he is!]

Now... touch your nose with your tongue! Sea camels hate that, maybe we'll scare 'em away!

[that was easy. He does so with no problem, then catches a glimpse of something far off but maybe really awesome through the railing. He hops to his feet again]

Hey! You want to see something really cool?

Thank you! I'm trying to get my friend to app Carl too.

[She's still struggling to get touch her tongue to the tip of her nose when Luffy hops to his feet.]

Boy, do I ever! What is it?

Hmm. Well it's kinda hard to see from down here.

[but then he knows]

Let's go up! [he points to the Crow's Nest. Then loops an arm protectively around her waist and punches up with the other one, his arm stretching and stretching and stretching til he can grip the top. He grins at her]

Ready to fly?
