Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

Now, that's a more normal reaction to that place.

[Ikki snorts lightly, "tough" is a good way to describe it. Even if he returns to live that doesn't mean he doesn't feel the pain when he's killed, specially when Saga turned his body to dust. That's a pain that he will never forget. But that's not the only reason why it's "tough".]

If the gods are merciful, and according to experience, they aren't, I'll die from old age and the phoenix will go to someone else. If not... Assuming I manage to get that old, I suppose I will just die and return to the body I had when I became a phoenix first.

[And that's assuming he even grows old, he isn't entirely sure his body has really changed since he became the Phoenix Saint. The only reason why he doesn't look younger than he is, is because when he was fifteen he actually looked as if he had twenty years old.]

[nod. nod. nod. That was pretty hard. But if he couldn't get out of it, he couldn't get out of it. Still--]

I bet you have had a lot of cool adventures, though! And you can go to places no one can! Like volcanoes or really deep caves or under the sea! I bet you can see really cool stuff down there or even find sunken treasure!

I wouldn't call them "cool adventures", but leaving aside the sunken treasure I've been in those places you say. I normally spend my time in a volcano back where I'm from and once my companions and me had to fight in a temple at the deepest part of the sea, under water of course. Didn't have time to waste looking around though.

[Saori really likes to force time limits on them after all.]

Is that why you're here and travelling on a barrel? To have cool adventures and find sunken treasures?
