Test Drive for September 2013 Apps

Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

He nods. He doesn't really get that at all. He'd rather be with people than be lonely but--maybe she just wants to find all sorts of different people that she can make...pack?

"Good luck! And if you ever wanna have a party, come find me!" Because he likes her and it will be fun to party together and show her his crew.

"I'm always up for a good party~" Especially the kind of parties where she could show off and not worry about hiding her wolfy-ness.

[allendsmeat]

"Me too! I think every adventure should end with a good party and lots and lots of food." They would definitely have a good party when he found everyone again. Even if it wasn't home that was okay. It was better to be together wherever they were.

"Can you sing and dance and hold chopsticks up your nose?" All elements of a good party.

[soundandfurry]

"Pretty good at dancing, okay at singing, and I've never even tried that last one," Kagerou laughed, imagining herself even attempting.

He likes her laugh! She should do it a lot more.

"You should try! It's really fun. I can even do it with cooking chopsticks but then Sanji gets really mad." He laughs.

[soundandfurry]

"Hmm. I wonder if we have any on board... we mostly brought fruit, so maybe not." But she found herself wanting to try. Anything to grab some attention and pull it away from her fur, right?

[allendsmeat]

"Well you can train up with any kind of sticks! Do you have any of those dowel things? Or maybe a hammer! That would take a lot but if you can get it then chopsticks will be no problem!"

[soundandfurry]

"I should look around our supplies and see what I can find."

[allendsmeat]

"Yosh! I'll help!" He jumps down to the deck. "Let's go!"

[soundandfurry]

"Follow me!" Kagrou hopped from her perch, but what landed on the deck was not the woman Luffy had just been speaking to, but a fuzzy brown wolf, though it was obvious just from the look in her eyes that this was the same individual.

[allendsmeat]

"Uwaaah! That was really cool!" He sounds pretty happy as he follows her. "Transformations are so awesome! If I could do one I think I'd be a baboon!"

[soundandfurry]

"I dunno. I do think I prefer this to getting all furry even in my were form when the moon is full. Anyways, the storage room is this way. Keep low, okay? Don't want Captain Murasa spotting us and scolding me again."

[allendsmeat]

"Okay!" He's a master at sneaking, which is to say he isn't very good at it, but he crawls on his hands and knees to keep low.

"Hey...do werewolves still sniff eachother's butts to say hi?"

[soundandfurry]

... "What are you, some kind of pervert? I'm not telling you that." Seriously, Luffy, das gross.

[allendsmeat]

"Eh? It's perverted?" He didn't know that. Though dogs did look pretty happy. "Okay. I just heard it was like waving."

[soundandfurry]

"It's perverted when humans do it." Plain and simple, as far as she was concerned.

[allendsmeat]

"Well yeah. I wouldn't want to do it." He's smelled farts before that were really bad so he didn't know why anyone would want to smell a butt.

"By the way, are we getting close?"

[soundandfurry]

"Oh! Right here, behind this door...," Kagerou walked up to it, pawing at the door frame.

[allendsmeat]

"Okay!" He bounces to his feet and opens the door. The room is dark but he can make out some stuff.

"Oooh you've got a lot of stuff here. I bet we can find all sorts of treasure." He opens a box and peeks inside. It seems to be full of mangoes so he takes one and eats it.

"Where would the hammery things be?"

[soundandfurry]

And then... a giant, glowing anchor crashes into the ground before Luffy. It wasn't real, of course, but it certainly had presence.

"She boobytrapped the supply room?!"

[allendsmeat]

He jumps back at the sudden appearance of the anchor. That surprised him! There was something weird about it though.

"Booby trapped? What for?" and he experimentally poked the thing.

[soundandfurry]

Poor Luffy. If only someone had ever taught him about danmaku. Kagerou probably could have, but it was too late by that point. The experimental poke caused the ethereal anchor to explode in a forced directed solely at the rubbery would-be-pirate-king, likely to send him flying out of the room with the door slamming shut.

It worked just like she'd said. Luffy was sent tumbling across the deck, crashing into the railing before bouncing to his feet.

"You stupid anchor! What was that for?!" It had made him lose his mango! He scooped the slightly squished fruit from off the deck and stomped back toward the hold, determined to find what he was looking for. He pulls open the door again.

They say the definition of insanity is trying the same thing multiple times and expecting different results. Once again, the Captain's trap goes off. This time, Kagerou was wise enough to catch Luffy before he shot any further back.

"Hey hey, now, don't get yourself hurt over something stupid."

[allendsmeat]

"Oof!" He's grateful that she caught him, but he's really annoyed at that door!

"That's an annoying door. I want to get a hammer." He won't be beaten by a simple door! "Na, Kagerou, do you know how to get around it?"
