Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

I don't think we'll find them in barrels, Luffy.

[Robin chuckles behind her fingers.]

Not unless they've been cut into pieces, that is.

[allendsmeat]

No, I mean to row in. [he nods] I had a rowboat but it sunk and barrels are easier to get.

[thetruehistorian]

There are two of us now, and I'm rather handy when it comes to sailing. I'm sure we could acquire something a bit more seaworthy than a barrel.

[allendsmeat]

Ooh right! [he knocks his fist into his palm] Robin is smart! Okay! Boat. Boat. [he looks around through the fight going on around them] hmmmmm.

[thetruehistorian]

[.... fight? Robin shakes her head, trying to clear it. How did she miss a fight?]

Perhaps we ought to try the harbor, rather than the middle of town?

[allendsmeat]

Okay! [and he starts off in any old direction]

Did you see anything cool while you were gone?

[thetruehistorian]

[Robin follows because well, it's an island. They'll get there eventually.]

There are always things of note, if one knows where to look.

No wait. I don't wanna know. [because there was that whole years away mystery and he didn't want to know. If there was anything cool he'd rather see it himself]

I'll tell you something! I went to an island where mushrooms grow on your eyes if you sleep too long! Isn't that awesome? It was pretty bad at first though! haha

How do you get the mushrooms off once they've grown?

[allendsmeat]

I dunno. I just woke up naked. [Those ladies had been really weird.]

[thetruehistorian]

Perhaps there were flesh eating slugs among the mushrooms, but they passed you over because you're made of rubber.
