Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

Hey...! [And there's Ellen, blinking at how Sora's just busy moping the floor. She's going to try to get your attention now.] ...why are you still moping? Don't you think you've done enough?

[He blinks, looking up at Ellen with a surprised expression, before grinning sheepishly.]

I guess. That guy said I should. [Points to random guy.] He said I should... [Looks upward, as if trying to remember it word-for-word.] 'earn my keep'!

[With that, he scratches the back of his head. Now that he thinks about it, that guy is not even the captain of the ship. Or the first mate.]

[hearts_beat]

[No, the captain's the white cat dancing on the steering wheel. Either way, Ellen's gonna let out a sigh and shake her head.]

You've done more than enough so far. Why don't you take a small break, huh?

[rikuheyriku]

[He blinks a couple of times at this act of generosity, before smiling.] Really? Uh... ok.

[With that, he is going to plop down on the dry spot of deck, next to where he was mopping. He lets out a deep sigh, leaning back on his hands.]

Say, ...where's home for you?

[hearts_beat]

Where's home for me? [Ellen finds a crate to sit on herself as she thinks about this. She really has two homes, though...]

...a place called Kanon Town. It's really quite peaceful. Where's yours?

[rikuheyriku]

Kanon Town, huh?

[He leans his head back to look up at the sky.]

Mine's a place called Destiny Islands. It's really peaceful too, now. ['Now' being the key word.]

[hearts_beat]

"Now"? Did something happen?

[rikuheyriku]

Uh, yeah, actually. It was taken over by Heartless, before vanishing. I managed to bring it back, though, with the help of my friend! [he grins, fondly, then slowly appears worried]

I hope they're okay.
