Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[No, he doesn't care. He doesn't care why the talking pink pony is wearing an eye patch when she has both eyes.

At least he thinks it's a she. It's a pony, and he knows jack and squat about ponies in general.]

And...I suppose you're going to be a pirate, too, then.

Well, I'm still not sure! I'm better at singing than pirating! But I AM the best haggler!

[No. No he is not. What is with you weird talking animals shoo.]

What use does a pirate have of haggling, then. We take, we don't make deals.

You'll never know if you'll need to haggle THEN take! You know! Give them the ol' switcheroo when you're done distracting them!

[No pink pony thing, that is not how it works.]

Why do all that when you can just blow holes in their hull. I find people tend to be much more pleasant and receptive when they realize their ship is sinking.

Yeah, I hope so! If not, then I'll just get my own boat and sail the seas!

[Ship, not boat. It's almost worthy of a facepalm.]

Aye, I am looking for a ship. [With heavy emphasis on the word.] Though I see little in this place that do compare to me own.

[Well, it would be a boat if she's on her own. A ship is too big! Maybe a rowboat!]

She were a ship much finer than any they have here.

Well, I hope you find something! Maybe a better ship is on some other island!

Or p'raps I'll simply find me way home to a ship that could outrun any of the derelicts in this scrapyard.
