See you during the application round!
♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?
♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!
♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!
♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!
♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!
2!
Huh. Leo hadn't been expecting that to happen. He'd wandered onto the first island he saw that he could dock his boat on. And then he'd wandered around for awhile until he saw the man.
He would have warned him about the lizard. Really. Leo just hadn't seen it from his viewpoint in, from behind all those rocks. Yup.
Except that dude just beat the crap out of it, so yeah. That was good. Leo eyed him from behind the rocks, considering. He looked like he could take Leo out the same way he did with that lizard, but maybe not. Hm.
He vaults over the rocks, and then leans against them. Yup. Totally smooth. Also a good dozen yards away. Yup. Plenty of room to sprint the other way if he needed! Or he could set the guy on fire! That was always fun.]
Are you interested in sharing that thing, man? That's kinda big for one guy!
OOC: Akabayashi could have noticed Leo easily. He is not a stealth ninja. <<

There's no tension in the man's figure though, as he gives the lizard's head another pat.]
You know how to cook, lad?
no subject
Yup. I've never cooked a lizard, but I can give it a shot. You got something to skin it with, man? [He still kept his distance, leaning on the rock. Yeah. That guy was like, a ninja with that cane. Leo wasn't sure he wanted to get close.]
no subject
You going to try that too, boy?
no subject
If the guy is some weird god (which Leo doubts, because a god wouldn't kill a big lizard with the intention to cook it) then Leo just mouthed off to him.
Ah, he'd survived mouthing off to plenty of gods before, and crushing on them. He'd
probablysurvive one more. Or a pissed off guy who has ninja cane powers.]no subject
The lizard's probably better eating, I figure.
[He speaks again without looking back at the boy.]
If the young man wants to make himself useful, a campfire for cooking this thing would also be appreciated. Do you know how to do that one?
no subject
This guy speaks weird and is creepy.
Leo gives him a shit eating grin.]
Man, I got your campfire. [Leo could totally be the campfire, but he's not sure he wants lizard juice all over him.] You sit tight and skin that thing, man.
[And Leo goes down the shoreline at a fast pace back to where he came from - to where his boat was, and a little farther. He thought he saw some fairly dry wood back there...
And ten minutes later he's back with a good armful of wood, and a long, fairly thin stick held between his lips. If Akabayashi looks closely, he'll notice that one end of the stick was blackened to a point. Leo doesn't waste any time in getting it set up.]
no subject
He stands and walks around the lizard, but it's not because he needs a new angle for his work on it. It's more that he needs to get the boy in the view of his left eye. He splits his attention between boy and task as he finishes up the skinning process.]
Hey, kid, you think someone back on the main island could make some boots or something out of this stuff?
