Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[ She contemplates this briefly. ]

Weeell... it could definitely be useful salvage material, especially since some of these seem new! I'm just saying, something brought these things down. We should be extra careful we don't accidentally get ourselves in a bad spot. What's that old saying? Catch neither the horsefly nor the wasp...?

[ Or was it a beetle? ... Oh, well, she grew up in America. Can't be helped. ]

Lila, you're doing that whole not making sense act again. But yes, it's best to stay clear. One or two of us will need to stay here, while we take a small boat out there. [She crosses her arms.] I'll definitely be going.

[She'll get herself and someone else to safety in case all Hell breaks loose.]

[ She frowns. ]

Aw, I can't be bothered remembering idioms anyway!

[ Though she'll come back to the ship now, broom in hand. ]

Well, as long as I can SEE you guys, I shouldn't have any problems helping out if things get hairy. I don't mind looking after the ship while you go, but if it's like, a giant sea monster, I'm not footing the bill for that one.

[ It's not that she COULDN'T help, it's that her magic is kind of limited here...? She's not entirely sure why, but it's about half as effective as it ought to be. ]

Well, at least have the canons ready if there is one! If you can't wait for our return, then leave. I'd rather not have to get a new ship!

[Even if Grell's power is limited, it would be enough to get to where she needs to be, which reminds her...]

Don't go to any place not on the map if you can help it, if you do leave!

[ She'll give a salute here. ]

And relax, I'm not going to paint it pink or anything! Just be careful not to become fish food. If I have to bail you out, you'll owe me one~

[ Although now that she's said the painting it pink thing, it's REALLY TEMPTING... ]

[Just by her even mentioning the word 'pink' and 'ship' in close relation to each other makes Grell suspicious.]
