Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

"Is that a kid over there? Hey Finn, bring us in!" The otter at the helm of the sailboat turned it towards the island, sailing it towards the shore.

"You alright there Kiddo?" Grey asked after they'd landed.

"Oh, thank goodness!" Sasami said, breathing a sigh of relief. "Yes, I'm fine, but I think my crew mutinied on me..."

Which was ridiculous. She was a kid! What kind of person would mutiny on a kid?

"Well, they're pirates. That's kinda what they do."

"That and get scurvy." Finn butted in from over Grey's shoulder.

"Well, yeah, I can see that now..." It's there she sees Finn. "Oh, how cute!"

"See, she thinks I'm cute." Finn said, a gloating tone in his voice.

Grey ignored Finn's comment. "You wouldn't say that if you actually knew him, miss."

The otter fixed Grey with a glare. "Are you still on about what happened on Prior XII?"

"Look, all I'm saying is that people who almost cause an interplanetary incident by hitting on the ruling monarch lose the right to call themselves cute."

Sasami's going to blink in surprise. Are these two really fighting? Oy. Just like home.

"Um... I'm starting to think this is something I don't wanna know about?"

[greymelee]

"Nah, it's fine. I just need to puncture his ego every so often." Grey answered.

"Because you're a jerk."

"You'll notice Finn, that I've never actually denied that." The Reticulan shot back before returning his attention to Sasami.

"We didn't really introduce ourselves, did we. I'm Grey Bradbury, Lieutenant Commander with Starguard, and the otter is Lieutenant Finn."
