Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

A. [Perhaps it was fate that drew you to this ship, or maybe it was the fact that the Captain had really soft paws. Whatever the cause may have been, there was a little kitty cat at the wheel as she jumps up on her hind legs.]

Avast me scurry dogs! The ship is about to sail, so everyone get everything on board post-haste and don't forget the cupcakes-nya!

B. [It's music night and unlike naval ships, there is no segregation of people, be them human or not. And as such, Hummy is leading the charge with a rousing song! She's got a tiny fiddle as she's playing, just one of the captain's musical talents.]

Dance me hearty sailors, dance! Rouse your happiness to the sky danyan!

C. [Pirates off the starboard! Your captain has ordered everyone into action to defend their wares of spice and rum. And cupcakes. Can't forget the cupcakes.]

They're flying no quarter, so we will respond in kind danyan! Come me swarthies, let us defend and then run away as fast as possible!

[You got her at 'cupcakes'.]

GOT THE CUPCAKES! [Bounces in with a plate on her head, stacked high with colorful, frosted cupcakes!]

Cupcakes! Pinkie Pie can I have a cupcake once we set sail?!

[There's obviously a happy drooling Hummy at the wheel, staring hungrily at the frosted goodness.]

Only if you eat TWO! [Because cupcakes are meant for eating!]

.... YAY! I HAVE TWO CUPCAKES!

[Cause Cupcakes are awesome and Hummy chomps into the delicious sweetness. Sugar makes this cat move after all!]

[Pinkie spins the tray and sets it down without toppling the tower of awesome. She takes a cupcake into her mouth, tosses it up while yanking off the wrapper (and thus tossing it to the side) and catching the treat with ease!]

Mmmmmm....Yummy!

Aaaaah these are just as good as Kanade's cupcakes! [High praise coming from Hummy because Cupcakes were serious business. That they were.]

REALLY?!

[A pause]

What's a kahnedee?

Yeah! Let's party! [except oops. He doesn't seem to belong to this crew! How did he get on the ship even? Nevertheless he's dancing around with chopsticks in his nose]

Party time! All the cupcakes nya! [Who knew? Well, more visitors was a good thing right? All the better to have fun!]

Woohoo! [and he takes a bunch at once because yum! And shivers!] These are so good! [sudden realization] Oi! Cat Lady! Do you have any meat cupcakes?!

Not at the moment, nya. Sorry! But we have delicious strawberry cupcakes!

[allendsmeat]

[well he can ask Sanji to make those for him one day] I'll have some! [and he shoves several dozen into his mouth at once, putting both hands on his cheeks as he smiles] MMmmmm SO gooood! Did you make them?

Mmm, nope! Our expert cupcake maker made them! [How a pony makes cupcakes is beyond her, but Hummy doesn't even have THUMBS so...]

[ Never mind that Tenka's not really proper part of any crew, but she seems pretty amusing.

Just a second there , though. ] Cupcakes?

Cupcakes! The SS Hummy gives its crew cupcakes!

[ You know, that really doesn't help much. ]

What are cupcakes?

Cupcakes are sweet and delicious and they make everyone happy!

Oh? Sounds like a great thing.

[ Too bad he doesn't have any. And that he doesn't really know what they look like, so he's not of much help there. ]

The seas need a lot of happiness, that's for sure.

[ This was probably the cutest thing he had ever seen. All he could do is stand in front of the captain adoringly. Though they were out to see, Makoto had somehow gotten hold of a long piece of wheat grass. He considered himself armed and dangerous against his feline foe and advanced, waving the grass in a way that is hopefully enticing to the tiny, talking cat. ]

[And Hummy started stalking it, adorably might she add.]

[ The addition of the adjective was unnecessary as Makoto found the stalking quite adorable on his own!

He moved it around gently--

Only now just realizing that this cat is talking.

But she's too cute to potentially bury him alive or suck his soul out of his eyelids so he simply smiles and continues playing with her. ]

You're not like most cats.

[The most she could do was sing you to death. Or just troll you a lot. You're safe from the tiny pirate cat.]

Hummy is from Major Land! So Hummy isn't like other cats.
