Welcome to our first Test Drive for
high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! [He's not homesick. No one can get him to say he is, because he totally isn't. He just wants to get his ass back where it has to be, before the brats get in more trouble than what they can deal with, like always.]

[And it's not due being homesick, but due it being his duty and his brothers... And because if the world is the way it is with Athena protecting it, he doesn't want to imagine how it would be without her there. The way he says the word "princess" is almost a work of art, there's some respect, loyalty and care laced down with lots of indifference, disgust and just plain hate. Complex emotions in all their glory.]

[He's pretty surprised, somehow. Just the way Ikki speaks of it is eerily familiar to himself. He sits up cross-legged and holds up both hands.] Ah. Not that I've got a princess, just a crumbling empire, and several prince brats. For some reason I don't quite get, everyone wants to be King where I'm from.
[Head tilt.] How many brothers? Are you the oldest?

Hn, I can't see either why would anyone want to be King. Though, to be honest, the princess isn't so much of a princess, she's the reincarnation of a goddess if you're the type to believe in that. And I'm convinced that what everyone wants to do back there is actually kill her, everytime I turn around there's someone threatening her.
[And she does little to help stop that from happening.
Ikki shifts uncomfortably at the question about his brothers, he... Tries to not think on that but since none of them are in this place as far as he can tell and he really doesn't feel as if he has anything to hide... When he speaks his tone is serious and closed, letting out almost anything of how he feels about what he's saying.]
Related by blood, there are only nine left. Counting those not related by blood, fifteen or less. I used to have more, over one hundred, but they died long ago.
[Some of them too long ago for him to have been able to do anything, others too stubbornly for him to be able to change it. Then again, most of them chose the way they died and all of them died doing what they wanted. He may not like it, but he respects it. The ones whose deaths bother him the most are the children who died trying to become Saints, even if he can't remember all of them, they died like dogs and that's something he refuses completely.]
I'm not the oldest, but I'm the one who is always saving their asses and having to clean up when they are too weak to do it themselves. That's why I've no time to waste here, they may survive without me, but it only takes an enemy with half a brain to get them in trouble.

All pirates, all idiots. We've lost a few over the years, but we've always tried to avenge them.
[He rubs the back of his neck and looks back behind him, over the other side of the ocean.] There always in trouble, but I found some of the dead here. So it's like this place is removed from time, eh?

[It's hard to say by his tone if he thinks that's a good thing or not, though. It's definitively more than what he could have ever expected to hear, when the other mentions that they are pirates it makes slightly more sense, still Ikki wouldn't want to have ever had that many. Sixteen hundred of Saints or potential Saints would just mean more lives that get ruined and lost because of the Gods.]
I expected it to be something like that, right before I arrived I was trying to follow my little brother and the brat through time. They went to the past to try to help one of our other brothers.
[His tone says that he doesn't expect Marco to believe him, but he's not going to bother to come up with lies for his life. He didn't do back in his world, he won't do it here either.]
I don't think I would want most of my brothers to appear here though, the biggest amount of them died when we were kids, during their trainings. The youngest were around six years old, I doubt they would have a better chance in this place at surviving, and I can't fly wherever I want anymore to get them if they were to appear.
[Not to mention that he probably wouldn't be able to know that they were there, even if they appeared and used those books... He doesn't remember all of them. It would be different with the Silver and Gold Saints, of course, or with Seiya... But no, to be honest he would prefer if no one came here, as much as he would like to see them, clinging to those who died is something he can't do.]
