Test Drive for September 2013 Apps

Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[ Not too far off is a small child leaning casually against a wall reading over a small, pocket sized notebook. ]

Smoking is bad for you, Oniisan.

[Blinks and looks over, then pulls his cigarette away from his mouth.]

It wasn't lit.

[Of course then he fixes that right quick then takes a nice, long drag. :|]

Cigarette smoke has a very distinctive smell you know, so it's really easy to pick up on who smokes and nonsmokers that usually hang around someone that smokes. Plus, not many nonsmokers would just chew on the end of of cigarette like that.

[ And all his accusation is proved true when the cigarette is lit. ]

[Who the hell is this kid? Sanji eyes him with a bit of annoyance.]

The shitty thing was in my mouth, obviously I was gonna smoke it eventually. Doesn't take a genius to work that out.

[Takes another long drag because he's an ass, and what the hell does he care if it's bad for him or not, gosh.]

[ Probably not someone you'd want to spend too much time with. ]

I know that. That's why I said it's bad for you. And second hand smoke is also bad for the environment and those around you. Especially kids.

[Grumpy froooown.]

The hell do I care about the environment? I enjoy a smoke every once in awhile. [or always] So I'm gonna smoke! If it bothers you so much, kid, move somewhere else.

[Flaps his hand at him in a 'shoo!' kind of gesture.]
