Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

Mmph. [It wasn't a satisfying answer. The Old Man could tell Teach whatever he wanted and it may have been true, but Teach wouldn't let that slide. He already knew about Teach's ambitions. He used him to become a Royal Warlord and gained more clout than a man could have gotten in a hundred years of pillaging and fighting on their own.

He glowered past Marco for awhile, realizing it was a moot point. Ace already knew the main weakness of Blackbeard's fruit--that it was extremely difficult to become mobile and avoid attacks--but, with his ability to sap Devil Fruit powers, they would need more than one person at a time to fight him.]

It doesn't matter. How does this sound, though? Marco.

[He paused, lifting his hat up to put it back on.]

The Age of Fire-Fist.

[Marco grins at that.]

Aye? [Better than the Rookie Era. God damn, but rookies still irk him.] I like it. [He kind of thought it might get stuck being Straw Hat's era, but named after Fire Fist instead had more class, and soothed Marco's ego at least.]

Will that be your wish if you find this Roja jewel?

[At that, Ace paused. He reached up to touch his chin, frowning a bit inwardly. Like Luffy, he didn't like the idea of knowing what the treasure he was looking for could have been. Still, he had a fairly good idea of what would be fun to do with it.

Though, he didn't quite realize that it was essentially the same thing his father did. Somehow, the thought hadn't even crossed his mind.]

Well, it depends. I'd either wish to have it sent somewhere else so I could find it again or I'd hide it so somebody else could have a chance.

[A laugh.] That sounds like a perfect wish. Count me in then, eh.
