Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[Oh he notices her ... and the theft, too. Always quick on his feet, Zidane tails her through the crowd and catches up, slowing his pace to match hers when he does so.]

Hey, you're pretty skilled!

[soundandfurry]

-What? Okay, so that was really awesome to hear, as her ego always needed a good stroke, but now wasn't the best time for it! She was quick to duck into an alley, leaping for a clothes line and using it to propel herself further upward.-

[inthespians]

[What's up with this girl?! He mutters to himself inwardly and scrambles after her. Not to be outdone, he leaps to the clothesline, swinging himself by the tail to jump to the next handhold.

Gotta show off, after all.]

[soundandfurry]

-A tail? She hadn't expected that. Grabbing onto the rain gutter of the nearest building, she pulled herself up to the roof, finally pulling down her hood. Two canine ears popped up, and when she spoke, Zidane could probably see her fangs.-

Hey! Why are you chasing after me?

[inthespians]

[The ears and fangs hardly startle him, although he vaguely wonders what tribe she's from. Not that it matters—he finds them cute, regardless.]

It's not every day you run into a pretty lady who can make such a great lift. If you were hungry, though, you could have asked!

[soundandfurry]

-And then he'd notice a wagging tail, because oh! Positive attention! Still, she calms herself, taking a bite from her forbidden fruit.-

I don't have any money. People like me never need it.
