Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[Wow this kid is energetic. See normally he might say sure why not, he could come along and be bored with him on his little dingy ship, but. Well he has a bad feeling that this guy might cause more destruction than anything else.]

No, no, you mis-a-understand! I'mma just getting food!

[The food he's going to end up dropping with all this distraction going on.]

There issa no adventure going on! [Which sounds like a lie since he KNOWS he's going to get wrapped up in some kind of grand adventure eventually (he always does) but he can't let this kid know that!]

So we should go look for one! I bet there's lots to do out here! Hey, where's your ship, old guy! I want to see it!

[Well it was pretty obvious he wouldn't be able to shake the kid anytime soon so he might as well roll with it for now.]

Al-a-right, but... it's only a small sailboat. [Humble beginnings and all that.] If you are a pirate I'mma sure your boat is better.

[He has no idea his boat is probably a barrel.]

hahaha I just have a barrel right now!

But we can bring it and fill it with cool stuff! Like treasure! Or meat! Or really cool beetles!

Well. I guess having a partner wouldn'ta be too bad for now.

[He's had partners help him out on adventures in the past after all. Just hold on a minute as he tries to awkward put all this stuff up on an empty shelf. Yup that'll totally not look awkward.]

I'mma Mario! it'sa nice to meet you!

[allendsmeat]

I'mma Luffy. [he grins] Nice to meet you, too!

[though he does glance at the awkward pile of stuff]

Want some help with that?

[Yo don't pick at the accent bro!!]

Oh this? Nah I think-a I can manage. I donta usually like-a to brag, but I'mma pretty strong!

[allendsmeat]

[he's not picking! He thinks it's pretty fun!]

Yeah?

[and he starts walking. He doesn't know where the ship is but he's sure he'll find it mysteriously somehow]

[Goddangit bro he has to pay for all that stuff first! Oh fine he'll come back for it. He has no idea why Luffy when ahead when he didn't know where it was, but he'll just yell "It's this way" or something whenever he goes the blatantly wrong way.

When they get to the boat, like he said it's nothing special. It's a simple sailboat. Though on the flag he has the same symbol "M" on his hat painted on it.]

The paint job coulda be better, but I'mma proud of it!

[he figured you pay for it and catch up. But now that you're here it's okay, too.]

Hoo. That's a pretty cool boat! Is that your Jolly Roger? I bet it would look a lot cooler with a mustache!
