Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

Doubt it. Seen me fair share of new sailors many times before, and it's always the same song and dance. Nay, I've no time to be training up those as can't tell one side of a ship from another, nor find their arse with both hands.

[ He gives out a loud laugh at that. ]

You're a pretty funny guy, aren't you. What's your name?

Barbossa. [A pause.] Captain Barbossa.

[sunofshiga]

[ He whistles, but looks more amused than impressed. ] A captain, huh? And such a bigshot like you managed to get yourself caught over here.

I'm Tenka, by the way. [ If the guy even cares, but he doesn't care if he doesn't. ] Not a captain, but family head.

I don't believe there was much choice in the matter, one way or the other.

[Because believe him, he'd much rather be back in his own waters on his own ship and not...Wherever this is on some wild goose chase.]

Sure, but it shows that this place can bring just about anyone, huh.

[ And Tenka's got more important things to do than being here, too. ]
