Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[OH YOU KNOW. AROUND~]

[Cocks an eyebrow.]

That's an all new level of bored. [Finally lets his grin break through as he hops down.] Man, I'm glad you're here!

[WELL YOU SHOULDA SHOWED UP SOONER, RIKU. YOU HAD HIM WORRIED.]

[He holds his expression for a moment, then has to grin widely. Seriously, though, where had Riku been hiding? His grin fades, as he realizes he is letting Riku off too easily.]

Where the heck were you?! I spent forever looking in that town!

[Yeah, okay. So, he's absolutely terrible at sounding angry, when he's simply relieved to have found you.]

[SORRY SORRY HE'S HERE NOW!]

I didn't stay there long—it's not like I knew you got pulled here, too!

[Has the decency to at least look a bit sheepish about this, though. He probably should've checked around more before taking off...]

First place I went was to the harbor. Figured I'd need a boat to get home, so... [Gestures around them.] I hopped on the first ship I could.

[rikuheyriku]

[IT'S OK AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T HAPPEN AGAIN.]

[He gives a stern frown, before his expression relaxes]

Heh, well... I'm just glad you're here, now. [With that, he is grinning fondly up at Riku.]

[darknessinside]

[Meets that grin with another small, quick one of his own, then clears his throat and crosses his arms as he looks out toward the sea.]

So...what's the plan?

[Glances back at Sora.]

Are we just along for the ride, or...?

[rikuheyriku]

[That is a good question, actually. Sora pauses a moment, folding his own arms over his chest. He looks downward with a momentary serious expression on his face.]

Well, I was just going to stick with this crew while I searched for a way back home, but... [He looks back up at Riku with a determined grin.]

Let's get our own ship!

[darknessinside]

[He had a feeling Sora would say something like that, and can't help letting out a light laugh.]

As long as it isn't a raft.

[rikuheyriku]

[He laughs, as well, but his is at the mentioning of their infamous raft. Scratching the back of his head, he remembers just how sure he was that idea was going to work...]

Yeah... I doubt we'd get very far. [He then beams.] Which is why I'm glad I have enough money to buy a small ship! I checked while I was still in that town.

[He folds his arms behind his head and looks genuinely proud of this fact.]

[Nods.]

I've got some, too, but we'd better save it for supplies. Should we get some more people to join us? I mean... [Smirks a bit, though his tone is teasing when he speaks.] I know I can handle sailing the ship and navigating and taking turns watching out for enemies, but you might need the extra help. In case you fall asleep on the job or something.

[rikuheyriku]

[He nods to the mentioning of supplies. Then he blinks, and gives a frown-specifically at the last sentence.] H-hey, I'd never do something like that! And I can handle any job you can!

[He grumbles just a bit at the teasing. But, yeah, we should probably find more people... but only because a ship would be difficult to handle with just two people!
