See you during the application round!
♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?
♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!
♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!
♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!
♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!
♦ Arrr, here be buried treasure, but not all that glitters is gold! Will ye be telling your mateys what ye found, or keeping it for yourselves?
I never expected to see a Sieglinde /o/
"I may be persuaded to assist you." Drawing this out a little longer than he needed to. Her abrupt response had been a little offputting but on reflection he hadn't started the conversation on the most hospitable footing either. He moved a little closer and kneeled down, trying to spy just what had her trapped.
When she looked up at him and that flash of recognition ignited in her eyes, he instinctively drew back, and gave her a hard look. "Yes, I am.. but I'm afraid you have me at a disadvantage Miss. You know my name, but I am almost certain that we've never met before..."
[Try it!]
she's not too popular but she's so cute ahaha ( *´ ▽ ` )ノ
Suddenly, she realized that something was wrong — the boy before her could not possibly have been the same Ciel she had treated only days prior. His skin showed no sign of miasma poisoning; moreover, even though he was recovering more quickly than she had predicted, her patient hadn't been in any condition to move around. Logically, the Ciel she was talking to could not have been the same Ciel staying in her manor — yet he had responded to the same name...
So then what?
So then who?
"...you don't have a brother or anything, do you?" she asked, genuinely confused.
"Well, whatever. We can figure this out once I'm not stuck in these bushes." With another uncomfortable wiggle Sieglinde managed to free herself of the vines ensnaring her arms, sighing with exhaustion and relief. "I can't stand on my feet, see, so I use these balloons to hover a few inches off the ground. But we got caught up in a storm and the wind was really strong... so I wound up here."
She then attempted to pull herself to her knees so that it would be easier to push the ring off her waist to her hips — but since she was resting on the ring, this proved near impossible, and she rolled about helplessly for a few minutes before giving up. "Augh! This — stupid — ugh. Look, I know you're all prissy about getting near people, but do you mind pulling this off me?"
I could see her using those smilies too. They fit her cuteness.
As she trailed off, a quiet moment passed between them. From her manner of dress, it was possible that she might be apart of upper society and she could be from his own time. The prospects intrigued him greatly, but he hated to be at a disadvantage. This person- could she be from essentially the future? Undertaker had hinted about how something like that could happen here but Ciel had not witnessed it personally.
"I am the last of the Phantomhive line," He answered solemnly.
"I would rather discuss this on the ship..." Ciel readily agreed. If she was unable to stand on her own then they might have to wait for his fellow crewman. It was difficult to keep a straight face as she explained what had happened. Still, he managed it. He wasn't much use as she was slowly freeing herself, but progress was slow.
"......" So she knew about his aversion to being near others. What else did she know? Reluctantly he moved closer again. "Why didn't you include a hinge? It would be a lot easier to remove if it was not a solid ring." He tilted his head to the side and looked for a delicate way to aide her in this problem. "Which... direction should I pull it...?" Upwards, probably? Wouldn't it risk getting stuck on her arms? But.. downward it would run into all that fabric. Ugh. Where was Lizzie or Sebastian- they should be doing this. Anyone that wasn't himself should be doing this...

"Normally I put it on while sitting in a chair, so I don't have to put pressure on my feet... I guess if you don't want to get that close, you can just pull me up like that, and... wait, no, that's not going to work." Throwing away that scenario (she had imagined being able to just kick it off if he helped her to a sitting position, but the ring was rather firmly stuck to her waist), Sieglinde rolled onto her stomach, supporting her weight with her arms. "Just get it off already! You don't have to worry about hurting me if you just pull it off really hard, if that's what you're worried about. It'll only hurt if it hits my toes."

She continued to flop about like a fish caught in a net before she became exasperated. "Let's just make this quick..." Before the others could get here. Finally, he took a hold of the contraption and gave it a stiff yank.

The ordeal left her dress rather wrinkly and dirty, but Sieglinde was not particularly concerned with her state of disarray as she pulled herself to her knees, rubbing her aching back and stomach (where the ring had dug into her) like a woman much older. "Owww... right, that's much better... I really need to get one I can take off by myself in the event of a crash."
She cleared her throat, swinging her legs outward so that she could sit without putting pressure on her bound feet. "Anyway, I didn't expect to have to reintroduce myself to you, but I suppose it can't be helped. I am Sieglinde Sullivan, Lord of Wolfsschlucht."

"Might I suggest that you take a trip to Aeolipile island when you are reunited with your ship. The technology available there should be able to produce an item more suited to your needs." That island relied on steam power, which made it more advanced than many of the other islands, plus they exhibited craftsmanship with various metals and gears.
"As none of us expected to be drawn to this backwards world.." He commented offhandedly." A lord?" He crinkled his nose at the title. "You?" She should at least be a "lady".
Still he didn't forget to return the introduction." .. And I'm Ciel Phantomhive, Earl of Phantomhive".

or the official translators are going to change her title later, who knows— but Sieglinde did not seem particularly bothered as she continued brushing twigs and dirt off her shoulders."Anyway, I already knew that." Her tone was casual, but there was an edge of smugness in it that suggested she vaguely enjoyed knowing things that other people didn't. "I don't know why you don't remember me, but it's not important. Maybe you suffered more memory loss than I thought you did. Is Sebastian with you? He should remember me — he's the one who taught me English."
"I'll visit Aeoli... whatever later. Say, do you have a boat we can get to? I fell overboard mine" — rather atrociously unlucky, to fall overboard a ship and then crash-land on an island — "and I don't think I can get back now. I'll have to try and find them again."

"So it would seem but I would have been remiss in my etiquette not to return the exchange," She'd called him Ciel before- having left off his title entirely. Were they on that level of familiarity back home? The tone he could have done without, he knew he was at the disadvantage here. "Memory loss too?" He huffed," I was apparently falling apart in every way imaginable...." That was an excellent question he would like to pose to her. Where was Sebastian when he was getting horribly injured in her timeline and losing his memory? That demon had been slacking. "Yes- he is. I trust he was not as harsh with your studies as he is with mine?"
"I didn't just walk to this island... " So yes, there was a ship. "When we make it to the ship, you may use our Nav. It needs one more day to recharge however..." No it didn't... but he was curious to learn more of the events she'd witnessed.

She listened to his comments patiently, at least up until he asked about his servant. "Is he harsh with you?" she asked curiously. It was difficult for her to imagine Sebastian being harsh when — as far as she had seen — he had been the epitome of the perfect butler, and always had sweets to spare. "I thought he was really quite patient with me. And he spoke the most excellent German!"
Very slowly the little witch rose to her feet with the support of a nearby tree, wincing slightly when she lost balance for a moment and put pressure on her toes — but soon enough she was firmly anchored on her heels and capable of walking. "Anyway, I don't know if I would say you were falling apart... well, you weren't dead anyway, thanks to my treatment. I can tell you what happened to you if you'd like — but do you mind leading me back to your ship first?"
