Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! [Robin blinks and shakes her head, taking a few steps away.] Don't make offers like that, here.

If you wish to give your life you're free to do so. There are worse things than death on these waters. [Gan Fall in Skypeia, she's starting to sound like Scurvey Dog.]

[he pats a hand to his chest like he can feel his soul there. No wait that's just his tattoo.]

[Her expression turns contemplative, scrutinizing.]

Would you like to find out?

[Then she seems to snap herself out of something.]

No. Your life is precious too. It isn't worth the risk.

[derps, and then tries to laugh it off]

Aw, haha, c'mon, Robin-senpai. You don't have to tease me.

[WAIT BACK THE TRUCK UP]

M-my life is precious? To you? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaahhhhhh......

[Robin doesn't reply to that. It isn't, particularly, otherwise she wouldn't be tempted to use it in ways that would ruin him. But she's not going to lose herself. She won't become a monster. All lives are precious.] The docks are here. Check your pockets or around your neck, there ought to be a few coins.

[snaps out of it and starts patting himself down. His neck? No, just his feathery coat collar. Pockets, though. Hey, look at that! Wait, those aren't beli. Just a moment, he needs to peer suspiciously at the coins that appeared in his harlequin pants and work it through his thick head that magic is magic and it's really his to waste as he pleases.

All of his other needs fall by the wayside. Robin-senpai needs his help! TO THE HARBORMASTER!]

Hey, look at that! I guess like it or not, the Barto Club sails again. 'Least for a little while. Don't you worry, Robin, I've got it all under control!

They're called doubloons, and they're worth quite a bit more than Beli. If you spend more than five gold on the ship you'll have been cheated.

Five?!

[he's used to more like 500, or 5000, but she's the boss. Intelligent Robin-senpai, he can trust anything she says! Give him some time but he will totally negotiate the best sailboat he can score for that kind of price. Probably after showing his teeth.

At last he waves to summon her over.]

Need to get back to the Straw Hats? I'm your man!

[Robin closes a little book she'd been reading and puts it back in her backpack, sauntering over with a warm smile.]

There's a market not far from here. Twenty copper ought to be enough to stock the ship enough to make it to the next island.

[chicken_kun]

Uh, okay. You know where we're goin', right? [he gives one of those humorless laughs of his that tries and fails to cover his uncertainty] Because I'm not really a good navigator, I had someone else for that.

[She reaches up to smooth the wrinkles on his forehead.]

I know many places to go. You needn't worry about that, Birdy-kun.

[KYAAAAAAA HE LOVES HIS NICKNAME.

Really, Robin, if you thought Sanji was bad with his twirling and hearts, Barty is a thousand times worse]

Bwaaaaah! I'm sorry I doubted you, Robin! I'll go anywhere with you!

[True, but she feels no guilt in using Bartolomeo as a meat shield.] [She flashes him a smile, then goes to stow her pack in one of the rooms, motioning for him to get going to the market.]

[and off he shall go, FLAILING ALL THE WAY. ROBIN-SENPAI NOTICED ME!]

[Of course she did. Not that it amounts to much more than a good price on a sailboat. She's gone without a trace by the time he gets back from the market. But there's some weird device stuck to the helm of the ship, glowing like it's recently been used and is now cooling down.]

[Awwwwww abandoned again. Story of his fanboy life. Poor Barty is left standing on the dock with armloads of supplies, blinking and gaping like the derp he is. He'll never know.]
