See you during the application round!
♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?
♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!
♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!
♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!
♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!
♦ Arrr, here be buried treasure, but not all that glitters is gold! Will ye be telling your mateys what ye found, or keeping it for yourselves?

How do you get between them with such primitive ships?

Every ship here has a Nav thingy, it lets you jump from ship to ship. They work to get the ships into the clouds, dunno how but. That's the way of it.
...don't knock the ships, though. They're more than enough for the sea, and then some.

They're sturdy enough, more than you'd think. Merrily's been holding strong even with my idiot captain occasionally putting holes in the deck, they're tougher than they look.

You can't think of any way to hold a third sword? I could show you, but I don't usually bring them all out unless the challenge is worthy enough.

Beats lounging around here. Shitty place for a nap. C'mon...I don't want to damage the tavern district.
[there's places nearer the harbor where they can let loose, after all.]

[Johnny follows along, glad that his hangover is finally clearing away.]

[though, yes, he's wearing his shirt unbuttoned so everyone can see the massive one on his chest. All the time.]

It was like learning to fight all over again. It's only been like this a couple years, though.

[walking while talking means he's nowhere near the harbor like he intended. But they are out by the beach, past the buildings. It'll do.]
Sure you want to do this? I don't hold back.

The only way to learn is to meet adversity.

Zoro draws one sword to start and places it between his teeth, to show the answer to the question of how he does it, first and foremost. He then pulls the other two.]
I like the sound of that.

[His body tenses as he places one leg in front of himself, bending lower and keeping his palm over the hilt of his cane-sword.]
Ready when you are.
no subject
Oh, he knows that stance. Possible iai. This is already interesting enough a challenge. Zoro's shoulders lower slightly, and then he charges, coming at Johnny with very basic attacks - basic, but at his level of strength, still more than the average peon fighter would be able to even block.]
no subject
Whoa, whoa!
[He skids to a stop behind him, holding onto his hat.]
Such an immense well of spirit inside you! It's practically coming off you in waves. It's good to see a swordsman who has clearly devoted his lift to itm but I'm afraid my style isn't suited for locking swords. You'll forgive me if I don't waste time blocking.

[Zoro can tell he's fast, very fast, and the parrying strikes are enough to fend him off. Intriguing, that the guy can feel his strength. Maybe he has something alike to haki...
He turns and offers another type of attack, positioning two of the swords across the third and sending a rush of cutting air toward Johnny instead, a simple Oni Giri.]

Divine Blade!
no subject
...shit!
[No more messing around. He finds his feet and lunges at his opponent, all three blades striking in rapid sequence. How does he swing with his mouth? He just does.]
no subject
MIST FINER!
[He braces himself and exerts his strength, pushing himself to send a relentless series of lightning fast sword strikes. His blade disappears in a flurry of steely flashes, making the air seem to glitter before him.]
no subject
You're good. Real good.
[He's having fun, way more than he would have just drinking and napping. He wants to see how far he can push things, and stays in closer range, not letting Johnny get off another distance move like that first one.]
no subject
It's all I can do, to keep up!
