Elsa | Frozen
[Elsa has been doing nothing but hiding in her room, she doesn't like it, but it's the only way to keep everyone safe. Just like back in the palace. It really feels as if she has gone back to the past, even if the general circumstances make her powers appear almost as nothing special or strange. But she's still dangerous, unable to control them, so she has to keep herself away from everyone. Anxious and somewhat afraid for what she may cause, it's not enough for her powers to go wild, but they are still impossible to control, making her room always an icy place in the ship.
Still, she often can be seen on the deck, leaving a faint trail of ice and snow as she walks and wherever she touches, looking over to the horizon with a hopeful expression. If only they could find an empty island, she would be happy there. She could stay there, alone, where she belongs. It may be worlds away from Arendelle but she had no longer a place there, isolation was where she belonged. She holds her hands close to her chest as she observes a horizon full of nothing but sea and sky, mumbling to herself.]
Just a bit more... Hold on for a bit more. Soon, we have to find an empty island soon.
[Option b; empty island]
[The empty island seems to hold little interest for the rest of the people in the ship, but for Elsa it's perfect. There aren't even animals that could get harmed by her powers! And the island itself has a winter climate, it feels as if she's back at the mountain. She doesn't care about returning to the ship, she doesn't want to, she's dangerous to everyone, and she has no wish to return to her world. Leave the past where it belongs, understand your own place. And her own place is there, far from Arendelle, far from Anna, where she can't harm anyone, where no one has to suffer isolation because of her.
She's sure that by now everything is fine in Arendelle, the palace's doors will be open wide now, and Anna may not have been prepared for it but she trusts that she will be able to rule properly. Close to her people, not scared of them or hidden. She's a bit worried about Hans, marrying someone she just met was a terrible idea, but after what she had done Elsa is no one to judge, is she? Arendelle matters not for her anymore, it's not her place to worry or think about it. Her place now is here, in this empty snowy island, and she lets herself go there, reconstructing her ice castle, bigger, brighter, a fortress of isolation visible even from the ship still docked at the beach. She doesn't even consider that some of the people in the crew may want to see her or check out that new building that formed out of ice.]
Totally Checking Out the Ice Castle!
She's not sure if she's supposed to knock at the door, but the place seems totally deserted, so maybe there's no one around anyway. Her curiosity gets the better of her regardless, so she tips toes inside, smiling to herself and trying not to make too much noise given just how impressed she is with the building*
no subject
She notices the door opening and moves towards the entrance, observing the visitor from the top of a staircase, warily though more worried about hurting the girl than of the girl posing a threat. Elsa swallows before she tries to talk, her tone gentle and soft.]
Hello... Are you looking for something?
no subject
Hi! I'm sorry... I didn't think anyone was around, so I just kinda let myself in so I could take a look.
no subject
[Elsa waves a hand, dismissively and offers a small, even if nervous and unsure, smile. It makes sense, after all, that people would be curious about the castle, but...]
I didn't expect anyone to visit, there's nothing on this island, no treasure or people... Except me. Did you come here alone?
no subject
This place is awesome! But -
*She stops and tilts her head at her, ignoring her question for now*
You don't live here, do you? Like you said - there's nothing and no one here. That must be pretty lonely.

B
Hellooooo!
[when no answer is immediately forth coming, he pats the wall to see if it's real ice and then licks it.
.... yep it's real]
Half!
[have a rubber man with a tongue stuck to your wall]
B
She hears the yelling, but not from the entrance but from one of the superior floors. She arrives to the room, in search of the source of the voice, only to find a man... Who apparently had decided to lick one of the walls.]
What... What are you doing? Why did you do that?!
[She approaches, intending to help, but stops when she realizes what she's doing. No, she can't touch him. Not without her gloves and even with them it could be dangerous. But how to help him then? If only she could thaw the ice, but she knows not how. She looks around, trying to figure out a way to help the man.]
Wait, wait a moment, please. I'll think of something.
B
[he says... though to untrained ears it may sound a lot like:]
Fi funfed foo fee fuff fif faffef fife. Fif fiffy foof!
B
[She reaches for him again but... No, even if she dared to try to touch him, what is she going to do? Pull him apart from the wall? That won't work, it would hurt him! Why is it that she keeps hurting people even when she doesn't do anything directly?! As she starts to panic snow starts to fall in the room, she has to do something! Anything!]
Okay... Okay we need to break this. Just a moment...
[Break the ice is something she can do, it will ruin part of her palace, but her palace isn't more important than someone! She gestures with her hand and ice spikes shoot from the floor to the wall, breaking it apart. Which leaves the boy free, even if still with a piece of ice glued to his tongue. She steps closer to make sure that he's not wounded and makes the ice spears retract.]
Now... Now go back to wherever you came from and get some fire or something to melt that, okay?
no subject
Fan fuu! [and he shoves the sizable chunk of ice wall into his mouth, his cheeks stretching to accommodate it. Best idea everAHHHH! Brain freeze! Brain freeze! Rolling around awkwardly on icy floor as his head tries to kill him]

A!
She was sitting in her plated skirt with her pauldrons and chestplate off, leaving her in a plain white shirt. Her mace was still at her side just in case if she had to use it. ]
It's a nice day today, isn't it?
no subject
Yes. It really is, it seems we won't be finding any storm or an uneasy weather for a good while. The sailing will be smooth.
[Which is very good and appreciated, whatever makes the travel faster and easier until she finds an island where she can stay by herself. She turns to the other, apologetically.]
I'm sorry, did I bother you?
no subject
The others must be happy about the smooth sailing.
[ Her smile widened and she chuckled. ]
Not at all. Please, take a seat. I find it's better to appreciate the weather with others.
no subject
I'm sorry, I appreciate the offer but I prefer to stay here.
[Standing at a safe distance from the other, not too far but not too close either.]
We surely can still appreciate the weather together like this?
[Hopefully.]

Ice Castle!
Man, somebody turn down the AC. On the upside, it blocks the wind chill, and it's a good retreat when all of the tropical islands are a little TOO tropical. It's always nice to have a wintery spot to cool your head in.
[Gene raises his hand in greeting.]
What's up? I guess you're the lady of the house, then?
thanks! I wanted to tag you but wasn't sure how to aboard it
She stands at the top of a staircase, observing the man with curiosity and caution. She nods at the question, offering a small smile.]
That's right. My name's Elsa.
May I inquire what brought you here? Visitors aren't something usual.

[This is a small winter island, it had only a few animals and plants, not a place people would be tempted to visit. Though the ice palace that shines on it may change that, but Elsa hasn't come to realize that.]
That's because there's no one here except me. I'm sorry to say this, but this island has no other residents or hidden treasures, even the food is too scarce to provide supplies worth of the time spent to gather them.

Sailing
[The immense man looks out over the rolling seas, wondering exactly what it is that has her so lost in thought. A long trail of cigar smoke leaves his mouth.]
Why does finding this island matter, now? What does the population have to do with it?
no subject
Elsa turns around at the man's voice, the wood under her freezing more at her surprise as she steps back against the handrail instinctively. She doesn't realize that she has placed her hand on the handrail until it's too late, and a burst of ice covers part of it, causing her to flinch away and bring her hands together to avoid touching anything else. That went wrong fast, but she can't start to panic now, she must keep herself under control somehow.]
S-Sorry.
[Her voice shakes and she pauses to try again, not daring to look at the man.]
I apologize, I didn't realize I was speaking out loud, I didn't expect the company either. Don't worry yourself with that, please, it's just a personal matter of no importance.
no subject
I knew a man with such an ability as yours. I wonder, can you turn into ice as well, or is transforming your environment the extent of your mastery? Such a power is quite useful on any ship.
no subject
I... I don't think I can do that. Though I've only recently started to explore the extent of my abilities, so I don't know yet everything I can do.
I can't see how this would be useful on a ship, though.

ok really, it's a lot familiar and she's not just thinking of arendelle. she's had her crew investigating every island they've come across with even a hint of snow or ice. so far it's been a long string of barren frost-covered island, barren frost-covered island, an island covered with what she thought was snow but was actually flour and sugar and decorated with sweet treats. it took them a month to leave the last one, having unanimously agreed that they had to check every inch in case there was a part that wasn't sugar or floor (there was but they eventually concluded that it was cream).
she cautiously touches the railing of the staircase her senses are now definitively telling her is ice.
this has to be it. this has to be her.
it's not just that it's of ice. in her time in this world, she's realized that there are powers more mysterious than that of her sister's. it could be someone else. something else.
but as she looks at the spires that remind her of her home's, she thinks elsa.
she has to remind herself to breathe.
the doors are in front of her. should she knock? how would it feel, to knock again and hear no answer?
she thinks, the same.
she thinks, then i'll know it's her for sure for sure.
and that cruel thought is a shard of cold that goes through her. ]
Elsa!
[ she's angry (at herself for thinking it, at the door for causing it, at elsa for-) and it burns at her throat and she has to shout again ]
Elsa! It's me!
[ and again ]
It's Anna!
no subject
The door opens as soon as someone knocks and Elsa senses it before she even hears anyone's voice. It's only as she's making her way to the entrance that she hears the voice, and she doesn't even need to hear the name to recognize it.]
Anna?!
[She loses herself for a moment and runs towards the entrance, stopping at the hall near the staircase that supervises the area. It can't be. It must not be. But it is, Anna. Anna is right there.]
What are you doing here?
[She hadn't even imagined that Anna would be taken as well, that anyone else from her world could be taken. All of them had a place they belonged to, only she was out of place. Only Elsa had nowhere to go and thus didn't mind which world she was in, so long as she was alone, unable to hurt people.]
