See you during the application round!
♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?
♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!
♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!
♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!
♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!
♦ Arrr, here be buried treasure, but not all that glitters is gold! Will ye be telling your mateys what ye found, or keeping it for yourselves?

ii. [so, you were injured in an enemy attack... and now you're being treated by a 19th-century witch. except she's technologically a few centuries behind even in her own world, so maybe more like 16th-century or something.] Hmm, it's too bad we don't have any eye of newt... let me see the injury, would you?
iii. [the crew has indeed found a new island! ...but since it seems to be largely mountainous terrain, sieglinde is just going to fidget in her wheelchair and frown at her bound feet] Oh... I suppose I'll just be staying here, then.
iii
Is there anything you want me to keep an eye out for--ingredients, or such? I'd offer to direct the chair, but I can't say how long I'd be able to hold out before I let you roll off the path. Given how steep some of those drops look, that would probably end quite poorly for all involved.

If you're going with the search party, could you get me samples of the plant life while you're there?
no subject
Ahem. Anything specific, or just anything unusual? [After a thought, he adds:] ...Or did you just want a leaf off of everything?
no subject
[resting her chin in her hands] I wonder if anyone will find treasure... it seems like a pretty boring island from here.

[All he wanted was to get to the market and buy some fresh fried turkey. Now here he is, getting involved in someone else's problems. Not like the natives would help out, right?]
...Need a little help, kid?
[Says the guy barely past 15.]
no subject
[...trying very hard to sound dignified] I would... appreciate it very much, yes.

[As he goes to extract her from the device, he takes notice of her legs.]
...The hell? Why are your feet so tiny? Can you walk?

Is something wrong? Do you need help?

[she places her hands on the wheels to indicate her problem] This chair isn't really meant for going up bumpy roads like that, see? And it's hard to go uphill with the Hexe Ballon too. So I'll have to stay on the ship.
no subject
Then why don't I carry you around? It wouldn't be that hard. [He knew he was at least controlling his strength better and wasn't so worried about hurting people as much now.]

So he's stretching near Sieglinde's chair, twisting his torso this way and that, bending over, basically getting nice and limber. He pulls his swords out of the sheaths on his back and checks them real quickly before replacing them, and then he goes back to stretching.
It's when he's pulling one arm across his chest does Sieglinde say this, and his dark eyes flit over to her for a second before he glances off and up to the side.]
Well, that's boring then.
no subject
Boring is the least of it. I don't exactly have any choice.
no subject
You could ask someone to help. It's a big crew, you know.
no subject
I might be light and easy to carry — [...at least she's aware of it] — but if we run into danger it'd be difficult to fight while protecting me, wouldn't it?

I. Here- have a Ciel that is before that arc
"Tch- what a waste of valuable time.." He scoffed, turning to head back in the direction of his ship when a strange sound caught his attention. Not too far from here- something was stirring in the underbrush.. and making the most awful racket. Holding up his journal he left a message with the crew before going to investigate. This way if he was detained they'd know to come and collect him.
He slowly made his way around the obstacles blocking his view. Twinkling in the glittering sunlight was......................... honestly, something Ciel couldn't identify. Near the thing was a little girl?
"Pardon me," He started with just to alert her to his presence. ".... but.... just what are you doing?" It looked a little ridiculous.... okay.. it looked very ridiculous. Was she an island resident or a refugee like them? There should be time enough to ask, from the look of things.
omg yes (ノ´∀`*)ノ
"What does it look like?" she grumbled, then paused a moment to consider the question. "Actually, no, don't answer that. Look, I didn't crash here on purpose, but if you wouldn't mind helping me out..."
At this, she finally glanced up at her visitor — and stopped mid-sentence, eyes widening with mingled surprise and recognition. "What, you're here too, sho — Ciel?"
(...she wisely decided that it probably wasn't a good idea to call him "shorty" when she was stuck in an iron wheel.)
I never expected to see a Sieglinde /o/
"I may be persuaded to assist you." Drawing this out a little longer than he needed to. Her abrupt response had been a little offputting but on reflection he hadn't started the conversation on the most hospitable footing either. He moved a little closer and kneeled down, trying to spy just what had her trapped.
When she looked up at him and that flash of recognition ignited in her eyes, he instinctively drew back, and gave her a hard look. "Yes, I am.. but I'm afraid you have me at a disadvantage Miss. You know my name, but I am almost certain that we've never met before..."
[Try it!]
she's not too popular but she's so cute ahaha ( *´ ▽ ` )ノ
I could see her using those smilies too. They fit her cuteness.

Though not excited enough to miss the witch's words. She may be a demon, but it's not like she's heartless. And loyalty is one of her better traits. After a moment's hesitation, the sea angel floated over to Sieglinde].
I'm sure we could find some way to bring you along.
no subject
[nevertheless her childish curiosity gets the better of her as her face lights up in excitement] Really?! You could? [and she catches herself] — a-ah, I mean — if it's possible for you to help me, I would appreciate it...!
no subject
I could use a partner on the expedition. If you can make yourself useful, I wouldn't mind carrying you around.
